@â„¢ was telling me about a very interesting article on Channel Five’s Fifth Gear web site. Our Skoda Fabia has been given five stars beating almost all (except for the Honda Jazz & Mini Mini). What does that say about the other cars?
The Skoda Fabia is based on the same platform as the new VW Polo, so handling and comfort are first-class. It’s refined, value for money and backed up by a top warranty.
And to all those Skodaphobes who sneer and joke at the badge, well guess who is laughing at you now?
Skoda Fabia – 5 stars
Honda Jazz – 5 stars
Mini Mini – 5 stars
Citroen C3 – 4 stars
Fiat Punto – 4 stars
Ford Fiesta – 4 stars
Hyundai Getz – 4 stars
Mazda 2 – 4 stars
Nissan Micra – 4 stars
Seat Ibiza – 4 stars
Volkswagen Polo – 4 stars
I won’t even bother with the 3 star or less cars. (Vauxhall Corsa, Renault Clio, Peugeot 206).
And finally, in the sixth months that we have had our Skoda, the price of the car has actually increased from £11500 to £12500.

Having personally experienced the joy of this Skoda, I have to agree with your comments. (Considering that I showed you the article, I think it’s only fair).
It is a fantastic car, ruined, not by the name or the stigma around it, but by the fact that it’s bright RED.
