Scientific Fact:

A recent scientific study found that women find different male faces attractive depending on where they are in their menstrual cycle. For example, when a woman is ovulating she will prefer a man with rugged, masculine features.

And just before she is menstruating, she prefers a man doused in petrol and set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eyes and a cricket stump shoved up his arse.

Greetings from Etosha Pan.

Hey there World!

My holiday in Namibia is going well so far. We’ve spent two days in the Etosha Game Reserve. Have seen loads of animals, in fact in the first 5 minutes of entering the reserve, we saw two lion have a sordid sex scene. I had to tell my mother to close her eyes. It was shocking. A lot of moaning and groaning, and hissing. Poor bastard probably got it in the wrong hole, and almost lost his life because of it. I got some great film of it. we’ve also seen plenty of elephant, springbok, rhino, wildebeest, kudu, duiker, and about 20 different birds (secretary bird and the Corrie), which looks half the size of an ostrich. Been stuffing my face with dry wors and biltong. So getting plenty of energy food as well. Not too mention the WIndhoek beer.

Disaster struck this morning while at a watering hole. We got a flat tyre. I had to get out of the car, when you are not allowed too and change it. What a mission? You got to keep an eye out on the animals, or you become their dinner. Then after changing it, we found a garage with a very slow Namibian who didn’t know the first thing about changing a tyre, let alone repairing it. As for the price to repair, well he might as well done a rain dance in the front of the tyre. So Pete Poopies ended up patching it (me), and putting in a tube (doh! into a tubeless tyre), as that was the only way of fixing it.

So, today has been a bit of a waste. We are going to a camp site now where we will be sleeping in a tent on the roof of the 4×4, because there are lions and hyenas walking around. Too risky to sleep on the ground. Should be good fun. (Don’t read too much into the above).

Otherwise, nothing much has been happening. Been driving around a lot. Temperature (look away if you have a weak heart)….. 37C —> It’s so hot, you can piss on the ground and in 3 minutes it’s evaporated. (ha ha).

Anyway, I’ll keep you posted when I can. Looking for an Internet Cafe is like looking for a needle in the haystack!

Hey Alonso! Whose being negative & miserable now?

I was reading Alonso’s latest comments about Schumacher.  Wow! Schummie has really rattled his cage over the years (apparently). I wonder who has already won off the track?
Next year is sure going to be fun when Kimi and Jenson start winning races and Alonso finishes 2nd or 3rd, or possibly even classed as DNF because Mclaren is such a kak car. I am going to enjoy every moment where he pounds the steering wheel in frustration because the car is so unreliable.
Being this negative is surely going to boost Schumacher confidence even more. And here we thought Alonso had a good positive head. NOT!

You notice how we’ve never heard any comments from the seven times world championship about  the 22 car penalty he received at the Monaco Grand Prix. I am puzzled as to why that was never an  issue, and didn’t Schumacher finish fifth in that race?  I do believe he even clocked the fastest lap (1:15.143).  He must have been pushing like crazy to get to that position and incredibly his car didn’t blow up.

Just think how boring this year would have been if Schumacher wasn’t there to challenge Alonso.

Fernando Alonso has come out fighting after his turbulent Italian Grand Prix weekend – declaring he is “110 per cent certain” he will beat Michael Schumacher to the world title.

Alonso you can be 1000% sure you have the title in the bag, but until you are crowned world champion for 2006, that type of talk will just make Schumacher stronger!

Alonso is a twat, plain and simple. One world championship and he has gone all bitter and twisted.

He clearly has a lot to learn about F1 and hopefully in the coming years the likes of   Button, Kubica, Barrichello and Räikkönen, can show him a thing or two about racing.

Another thought… I wonder if Alonso had a threesome with Villeneuve and Montoya at some point this year, because they all have being very outspoken about the Seven Times World Champion. They just seem to be singing from the same bed sheet song sheet.

It must be fantastic for Schummie knowing that you have worried someone so much, that they have to talk about you in public in such a vicious way. As for Villeneuve, there is nothing good about him and sadly he will never emmulate his late Great Father.

Bring on Shanghai
(1st October 2006)

It’s a sad day for F1.

Did you watch the race at Monza? How special was that, seeing the master at his best, and now he is retiring. I really wished he was going to say, "I’ll stick around for another year", but in a way he is now going out on a high, and if Michael Schumacher can win the world championship for the 8th time, then he will have made the right decision. Still I am very sad to see him go. There will never be another champion like him. I know that is a huge statement to say, but if you look at the current F1 talent, then it’s pretty hard to see who could possibly come close to what he has achieved.

I would say Kimi has a better chance at it than Alonso, what with Kimi taking over from where Michael will leave it. I think Alonso is going to find it tough at Mclaren, but perhaps that is what the cocky driver needs for next year.

F1 Legend
So the last three races are going to be fun. I can’t wait for the next one. I don’t want to wish three weeks away, considering I will be on holiday soon and want to enjoy my time off from work, but I am going to put all my bets on him winning his 8th world championship.

Question: Can anyone remember a race where Michael stood in front of the press and told the world how crap F1 was because they have decided to punish him because of an error or mistake he made in the qualifying or the race?

No! I didn’t think so….

A true champion doesn’t have a go at the sporting body that has made them a champion. What Alonso said about F1 is a disgrace and the FIA should punish him even further with a possible race ban. The rules are there to be obeyed, and they effect every driver.

I don’t remember Schumacher standing in front of the press crying like a baby complaining about the last place grid position he was forced to take because of his error in his Monaco qualifying lap, where he apparently parked his Ferrari in the road, thus blocking Alonso from doing the fast lap.

Isn’t it funny how Alonso’s attitude has changed over the past three months where he has seen his lead disappear. He is just showing his true colours (blue and yellow).

Read what FIA President Max Mosely had to say about Alonso’s penalty.

If only I was the cameraman.

It’s Friday at last and it’s a gorgeous Sunny day in London. You gotta laugh at the weather forcaster’s. They must choke on their words each time they predict the weather. Just last week they were saying "That is the end of Summer, expect a cold & miserable week", and here we’ve had a wonderful week of hot weather.

Anyway moving on, I found this brilliant animated image. Doesn’t it just bring on a smile. It did for me.

Smile nicely.

Oh! there is a F1 Grand Prix this weekend (Monza). I am thinking someone has to take out Alonso. I am thinking Massa, for the good of the team. Now that he has won his 1st GP, he can fight the good fight for the team and Michael. If not him, then I think Ralf could add some brotherly support.

Maxthon Web Browser -Wow!

Maxthon Browser

One of my colleagues (*Ed) mentioned to me that I should try out this Internet browser called Maxthon (silent "h"). So I gave it try and Wow!, it is incredible, I think it’s better than Internet Explorer, Mozilla, and Opera put together. You’ve probably never heard of them. I hadn’t either, but it is a great browser with so many advantages over it’s rivals. Here are just a few I have come across:

Tabbed Browsing Interface
Maxthon Browser’s powerful tabbed interface will give you the best browsing experience without taking your taskbar space away. All the web pages are arranged inside Maxthon Browser’s main window. Multiple web pages are indicated by tabs for easy navigation.

Mouse Gestures
Command your browser just with your mouse! Mouse Gestures are another revolutionary invention among the browsers. With ‘Mouse Gestures’ enabled, you can use your mouse to command Maxthon easily. And Some people say that it feels like playing KongFu with their mouse.

External Utility Bar
With Maxthon Browser, you don’t have to start other programs by switching away. Just add them to the Utility Bar and launch them by a single click. You could even set them to start and shut down with Maxthon Browser automatically.

Super Drag&Drop
Maxthon Browser introduces another revolutionary technology to speed up your browsing – the ‘Super Drag&Drop’. With ‘Super Drag&Drop’ enabled, you can open new links by simply dragging and dropping the link on the page.
