Another famous day in the lives of a "Bowen". Lauren celebrates her er’ 21st birthday today. 🙂 We just want to wish her a very happy birthday, and hope she gets spoilt rotten (Pete, that is your job). 😉
I’ve stumbled across a few fun web sites recently.
Oojai (Let your mouse do the shopping!) looks refreshing, although I am sure how well it will do in the already busy market of technology. Their prices look good for Video games, and Mp3 players, and there might be a good bargain or two in the coming weeks (while they are still new). There is a new Search Engine called "Search Me". It is a visual search engine, and it works really well. There is a video demo below.
You should get Stumbleupon. It is a brilliant application that sits in your browser tool bar and whenever you click the button, it brings up a random web site or video, depending on what you have specified in your profile. For example if you are into photography, bicycles, and Macintosh computers, a mix of these web sites will appear at random. They are spam free and you get no pop ups. I came across a really funny video called "Good luck Chuck – Funny sex scenes", which if you click on the link, will take you to the video. (A bit risky for the office, hence no thumbnail but it’s wife proof ;-), but there is nothing in there that you haven’t seen already in the Simpsons or Basic Instinct). So go on and download from the the link. It’s really funny.
The cheeky bastards!!!! I refer to Microsoft and T-Mobile, who are my mobile service provider. MSN Live is free on every computer, yet if you want to install it on a mobile, then you have to fork our £1.50 – They must be having a laugh! T-Mobile have an even bigger cheek, considering I am already paying for Web n’ Walk, which is 24/7 Internet on my phone. How is a phone with 24/7 broadband different to a computer? We live in the age of technology, yet scum bag companies like T-Mobile think they can rip us off with even more pointless costs.
Cats are meant to be clean animals, always licking themselves. So one has wonder why cat owners would go to such lengths or extremes to wash their cats.
Shame man! Some of them are still kittens. They look terrified.
I hope each one of them scratched the shit out of their respective owners. 😉
I am trying not to laugh…
Waiter, are you kidding me? 🙂
I wonder if they accept cheque?
I know this topic is already covered over at Guinnespig.net, so I decided to add a different spin to it, especially if one doesn’t have either of what was discussed on their site. Apple iPod or Nokia N95 Sony Playstation 3 or Microsoft Xbox 360
"You lucky bastard" is what the guy at the back is thinking as Mr Hunchinson fancies a feel on one of the richest breasts in the land. JK Rowling looks quite happy and relaxed at the obvious attention her assets were bringing. 10/10 for position. 🙂 Great Camera work as well!
It’s important in life to reach out, to strive for greater achievements, to go for that greener grass that is on the other side of the fence. But one must also be careful.
Sometimes you can reach too far!
But when you find yourself over-extended and you’re stuck in a situation that you can’t get out of, there is one thing that you should always remember…..
Not everyone who shows up is there to help you.
Moo Moo Moo
Now here’s a game that I could play for hours. I’ve waited for months in order to make a saving, while everyone has raved about this game. On the weekend I was in Zavvi (the old Virgin mega stores – apparently Richard Branson sold his shares so the company rebranded). Anyway, I saw the wireless plastic guitar and game all in one box, and thought I must have that game, and I have absolutely no regret, in buying it. We (my lovely wife) and I have been playing it non stop. It’s that good. Image from EuroGamer. Click the link for an excellent review. There is no point me telling you something that is already covered in their review. They give it a 9 out of 10, and I would pretty much agree. It’s excellent and highly addictive. Just a pity I had to go to bed.
