Barack ObamaWhy has the world tagged Lewis Hamilton and Barack Obama as being black men, when they are clearly “mixed BGP07 1101race or mixed heritage”? They both have a white mother or father and a black mother or father, which is clearly obvious in the colour of their skin.

Not being racist, but surely if you compare Danny Glover or Nelson Mandela or Michael Jackson before he became a white man through fiddling with little kids, then you’ll be able to tell a black person from a mixed raced person!

Surely the world is being racist by calling them “The first black …whatever”. Tiger Woods springs to mind as well. I wonder how they feel about it? You wonder why colour has to come into the equation?

I was watching the news last night and there was Sky News reporter Dermot Murnaghan standing in the middle of Hyde Park in Chicago (I think it was), surrounded by thousands of happy black people and he looked very awkward and you wonder why he was there (the only white face). Surely Sky News could have sent one of their top black presenters, who could have related a lot better to the circumstances, which begs the question, “Does Sky News have many black presenters?”.

But if you want a racist funny comment, then read the following BBC article on Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. The guy has got a great sense of humour.

Dedication.

By Mike. Posted in People | No Comments »

I stumbled upon this incredible website where this guy (JK Keller) has taken a photo of himself every day for 8 years, and then added them all to a video. In 1 minute 43 seconds you can see every single photo and the changes in his looks and age. It’s incredible. The website is called C71123 and the post is called “The Adaption to My Generation (a daily photo project)“. The video is below, or you can view it on the above website.

Trick or treat tonight!

By Mike. Posted in Babes, Google, TGIF | No Comments »

Google do have some awesome logos for the various famous days of the year. Todays one is no exception.

Oh well, I am sure if you live in a “nice” neighbourhood, you will be hearing a knock or two on your door tonight from the trick or treat kids. Lets hope they look like these two else there will be no sweets.

It's Friday & it's Halloween - Enjoy!

Sack Ross and Brand.

By Mike. Posted in Scum | No Comments »

Looking through my RSS feeds this afternoon it’s interesting to see that almost every British newspaper has an article or headline on those two idiots “Ross & Brand”, except for the BBC.

Strangely the BBC think Iceland’s 18% interest rate is a lot more important…

Annie & Jonathan

Annie Lennox has talent - spot the odd one out!

I don’t get how “talentless” people like Jonathan “I have a lisp” Ross and Russell Brand can get paid so much money to ridicule and joke about people who are far better than they will ever be.

Let’s hope they are both fired or at least fined some ridiculous sum of money and taken off the air forever.

Unfortunately what will probably happen is that the BBC will make a public apology to Andrew Sachs and his family, and then sack a few unknowns and then behind closed doors give the two of them a pat on the back, because of all the publicity it has generated and they’ll be given an extra big bonus, and their next show will have the most listeners or viewers ever, because every dumbwit British fan will want to hear them do it again.

Our society is ****ed up because we have idiots like these, and to think we pay TV Licence and this is what they do with the money!

Imagine no smokers in the world!

By Mike. Posted in Grumble | No Comments »

The world would be such a wonderful place if there were no smokers in it.

Just today I was reminded of what it used to be like when these disgusting inconsiderate people use to smoke in the office. At least with the current rules in most countries, these selfish people can’t light up or smoke within public areas. Unfortunately this ban does not stop them breathing their “stinky after breath” in the clean office air.

I wonder if there are any grounds to complain about colleagues stinky breath? Perhaps a tube of toothpaste and a tooth brush on my desk and they’ll get the hint. :-)

The year is nearly up and yet there have been no Binkyboodle girls for 2008. What has happened to them? If you are wondering what I am talking about then head over to  Flickr: BinkBoodle’s Photostream and you’ll see what I mean.

I went out last night with a few friends to this cool pub called “The Ventry” in Cannon Street and in a short period of time managed to drink five different beers, a Sambuca and a whiskey. I don’t even like Sambuca or Whiskey so I blame my friends for forcing it down my throat (lol).

Why do we do such stupid things to ourselves? I always ponder this thought too late. Don’t get me wrong, the evening was brilliant and it was really good to see everyone, but yesterday I felt really crap all day. Thinking about it now, I don’t want to have a repeat performance in a hurry. Perhaps I am getting old, although it’s not that because next week I will do the same again even though I know it’s stupid. I guess it’s cool to be stupid once a week. Who needs all those brain cells anyway!

To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine or a pint of beer… and those who don’t.

As Ben Franklin once said: “In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there are bacteria“.

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) - bacteria  found in faeces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop     Wine = Health

Therefore, it’s better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:  I’m doing this as a public service.

Thanks Mom for the email. I’ll remember this when drinking my beer.

Bowen is in Paris today and tomorrow.

By Mike. Posted in Work | 1 Comment »

It’s just typical isn’t it? I am working in Paris today and tomorrow and it’s going to be bloody hot.

I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to this weekend. This will be the first time in a month that I actually have a whole weekend to myself. All three previous weekends have been taken up by work.

Today is Independance day in the US. Let’s hope that alien spaceship with it’s big laser can take out George W. Bush properly this time. Wouldn’t the world be so lucky.

Remember the film Top Gun, that cheesy movie from the 80’s with Maverick, Goose, Cougar and Iceman and of course the very sexy Charlie played by Kelly Mcgillis?

or do you remember the catchy theme tune (anthem) that was played every time Maverick did something stupid like ‘a fly past‘ which Commander Mike "Viper" Metcalf gave strict instructions not to do.

Do you remember it? - Well if you don’t, then fear not as I know someone who can hum it for you (Hey James, is it ok if I give out your mobile number 07955 555 555).
Anyway, because it’s a holiday today for some reason XBOX 360 have released the Top Gun Theme tune for free to all Guitar Hero III fans. James and I have downloaded it already, and it’s pretty awesome. I just wish I was sitting in that cockpit, but playing a guitar and flying would be a problem. I’ve completed it with five stars already on Medium difficulty. It was a little tricky in the middle, but the rest is easy.

Still on the topic of Guitar Hero, I bought the Aerosmith pack. It’s very cool, although there are only 41 songs, and most of them are not their main hits, which is a shame. The best songs for me is ‘Livin on the edge and Love in elevator‘. It is a lot easier that Guitar Hero III for some reason or other, although that is a bad thing, because it gives one a chance to tackle some of the harder levels.

Moving on… this weekend is action packed although if you can call Wimbledon in the rain action packed, then there is clearly something wrong with you. The Andrew Murray game the other day was exciting, but I can’t imagine another game like that this weekend.

There is also Formula 1 at Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix (for how much longer Damon Hill)?

My money is on Kimi and Ferrari to hopefully ditch the bad luck and show the rest of the pack just how fast they are. Lets hope Massa doesn’t steal his thunder again and we can only hope and pray that the arrogant **** of an idiot in Mclaren only crashes himself and no one else. (Perhaps Lewis should swap places with his Daddy… although they are both accident prone). I read somewhere that they were on a yacht recently or in a race of some sorts and their yacht crashed into another boat before the race even begun.

Saw an interesting article on the Idiot over at PaddyPower.com about his decision to live in Switzerland. It’s quite funny, you should read it.

Damn, I see Coulthard is planning to retire soon. That is a shame. Pity Button is doing the same. He has no future where he is at the moment.
