It’s been a while since I updated this website with some news. Almost 2 months. 🙁  Anyway, that is not to say I am not blogging at all, far from it.

I started a new website called MyNokiaN900.com a couple of months ago, which I thought was a good idea considering I live and breathe this device.

In my opinion if you want a mini device that can make phone calls, text, navigate, surf the internet, listen to music, watch videos, analyze your sleep patterns, facebook, twitter, podcast, ebook reader, blog with qwerty keyboard, then the Nokia N900 is for you. Oh and it fits in your pocket. *

So I have been spending a lot of time getting the website up and running, getting it known to the world, publishing lots of posts and reviews on various applications and utilities. It is a lot of work but has been very rewarding. Do visit the site, if you have a few moments to spare.

OTHER IMPORTANT NEWS:

Our ten year wedding anniversary passed without any hiccups. To celebrate not killing each other for ten years we decided to spoil ourselves and visited the island of Jamaica, somewhere we had never been before. The weather was fabulous the whole time we were there averaging about 28C every day. It truly is paradise. Beautiful white sandy beaches, crystal clear warm sea water, plenty of tropical fish where ever you look.

We were only there for a week, but managed to chill out and relax with a little help from the spa. We spent the day either at the beach sun tanning, swimming, sailing, or in and around the massive swimming pools. The was a swim up bar and plenty of drinks with rum in it!

Captain Mick Sparrow 🙂

Looking out for the wind and other catamarans.

Extreme concentration from Mrs Captain Jo Sparrow.

The resort we stayed in was called The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa and was all inclusive, so we could eat and drink as much as we liked. It’s the best way to holiday in our opinion. It was located 20 km’s west of Montego Bay at a place called Lucea.  Ideally located with lovely beaches and coves. We saw some beautiful sunsets over the ocean or through the palm trees.

We experienced the tropical forest on some cool 4×4 off road dune buggys.

Here Jo is clearly going to fast 😉

We also visited the islands famous Dunns waterfalls, which flow directly into the sea and climbed up the water falls in the traditional way (hand in hand).  The water was cold.

Apparently a scene from Cocktail was filmed here, although saying that, we watched Cocktail the other day and didn’t see the same pond the two love birds were in.

Part of the trip to Dunns falls meant we sailed on a catemaran and got to scuba dive over the coral reef. That was awesome!

The Cool Runnings team that took us to Dunns Falls were amazing. They really looked after everyone (plied us with rum and reggae music from Bob Marley) and we would highly recommend these guys if you are ever in the Ocho Rios area. It was a spectacular day!

Right next to Dunns Falls lives Mr Mick Jagger. He couldn’t get no satisfaction, so had his waterfall specially made.

I’m still sifting through hundreds of photographs and will one day get them uploaded. For now that is all I have time for.
